I was expecting a more mellow rose scent because of its spot in the ingredient list but it abundantly clear that rose is an ingredient. Its not unpleasant but definitely noticeable. When moisturizing my hair with the water and herbal oil the water over powered the scent of the oil. In these hot summer months its a good refresher and helps me get to my next wash day.
